The National Professional Advisory Committee of Epilepsy Alliance America held its first quarterly meeting of 2026 on April 6, 2026. We are pleased to share updates to our National Professional Advisory Committee (NPAC) for 2026 as we continue to strengthen clinical expertise and leadership across our national network.

New Chairperson:  Kevin Rathke, MD

We are excited to announce that Kevin Rathke, MD of Duke University Medical Center has been appointed Chair of the National Professional Advisory Committee, following the conclusion of Dr. Anto Bagić's service as the inaugural chair of the committee.

We extend our deepest thanks to Dr. Bagić for his exceptional leadership and dedication. Under his guidance, the National Professional Advisory Committee grew in strength and impact, providing valuable clinical insight that continues to shape Epilepsy Alliance America’s programs, education, and advocacy efforts.
