Making a memorial or tribute gift to Epilepsy Alliance America is a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one while supporting our mission.

  • Memorial Gifts:  Honor the memory of a loved one with a donation.
  • Tribute Gifts:  Celebrate a special occasion or recognize someone special with a tribute gift.

How to Make a Memorial or Tribute Gift

  • Choose Your Gift:  Decide the type and amount of your donation
  • Provide Details:  Let us know the name of the person you are honoring or remembering
  • Send a Notification:  We can send a notification to the honoree or their family about your thoughtful gift.  The amount of your gift will not be included in the notification to the family.

FAQs

Will you notify the family that I made this gift?
YES. In the donation form there is space to include the name and email address of the person you would like to be notified.  There is also space to include a 'note' that we will forward to the family as well.

Will the amount of my gift be shared with the family member?
NO. We will not share the amount of the gift.

Do you have sample language we can use when requesting donations made in memory of our loved one?
YES. Thank you for asking your family and friends to make donations to Epilepsy Alliance America in memory of your loved one. You can provide them with the following language and link:
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of [Name] to Epilepsy Alliance America to support individuals and families affected by epilepsy.

Can I designate a portion of the gift one of Epilepsy Alliance America's member organizations?
YES. You can designate a portion of your gift to one of our member organziations. Just select the organization in the drop down on the donation form.
