Cassie joined Epilepsy Alliance America as Community Engagement Manager in June, 2024.

Prior to joining Epilepsy Alliance America, Cassie served as Program Specialist for Epilepsy Services Foundation in Tampa, Florida. During her time there, Cassie’s notable achievements were facilitating monthly support groups for parents, caregivers, and young adults impacted by epilepsy; conducting seizure recognition and response trainings for families, schools, and community businesses and organizations; coordinating monthly educational sessions and an annual education day event; co-coordinating awareness and fundraising events, and creating monthly newsletters and social media campaigns. As the parent of a teenager with epilepsy, Cassie is passionate about serving and making a tangible impact on the epilepsy community and ensuring that they feel informed, supported, and empowered. She is excited to be a part of Epilepsy Alliance America and to join their mission of providing care to those living with epilepsy.
