Tools and Resources
Thank you for completing our Seizure Prepared U Training. Below you will find links to the tools and resources mentioned during the training. You can download and share as appropriate on your campus. If you want to receive posters via the US Mail (hard copies) instead of printing your own, please email us at [email protected] to facilitate.
Posters for your Campus
Epilepsy Alliance America’s TRUST posters provide a simple, memorable way to respond to seizures safely and effectively. Displaying these posters in schools, workplaces, and public spaces raises awareness, reduces stigma, and ensures more people are prepared to help when it matters most.

Seizure Action Plans
A Seizure Action Plan is not just a piece of paper, it is peace of mind.
A Seizure Action Plan is a customized tool for people with epilepsy to share what is typical for their seizure activity, how to help, and when their seizure activity is a seizure emergency.
You can download sample SAPS at the Seizure Action Coalition website.

Rescue Medication Administration Videos
There are many types of rescue medications for seizures. These videos - in English and Spanish - demonstrate how to administer the most common types usually prescribed. If you have any questions, please make sure to reach out to your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Videos available in English and Spanish.
Disability Services available to College Students
This video is taken from a longer presentation made in August, 2023 by Dr. David Nash from RAMAPO College in New Jersey.
The presentation focuses on the accessibility programs available to college students on college campuses. He walks through accomodations that can be available to college students with epilepsy.
Training Tools
This Seizure Response Training video is less than 5 minutes and walks through Seizure Response for tonic-clonic seizures.
Anyone on the College Campus can take the training that you just completed.
Additionally, we have a General Seizure Recognition and Response Training. The On-Demand takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. It is ideal for family members of people with epilepsy, babysitters, co-workers, or anyone who would benefit from knowing about seizures, epilepsy and how to respond if someone has a seizure.
