Epilepsy Alliance America Announces New Member: JoshProvides Epilepsy Assistance Foundation, Inc.
Baton Rouge, LA, April 12, 2022 – Epilepsy Alliance America, a nation-wide network of community-based epilepsy organizations dedicated to providing direct care, education and support services to people living with epilepsy and the people who care for them is growing! The Board approved JoshProvides recent membership application effective April 1, 2022.

Their commitment to providing financial assistance for seizure dogs, seizure movement monitors, transportation and medical services, as well as community education, is meaningful, states Jeff Sinsebox, Board President, Epilepsy Alliance America. “The addition of dedicated providers such as JoshProvides furthers Epilepsy Alliance America’s mission to support all people impacted by epilepsy. Especially significant is their reach – not just throughout Southwest Florida but the entire United States.”

JoshProvides was founded in 2008 by Bruce & Sandi Chapnick to establish a legacy to their son Joshua who died of a head injury sustained from a fall from an epileptic seizure. JoshProvides focus is on offering children, families and individuals who are living with epilepsy or other seizures. JoshProvides offers resources and supportive services to children, families, and individuals. Specifically, JoshProvides distributes seizure alert & detection devices to ensure an individual’s safety; assistance with transportation to medical appointments, school and work for those individuals who cannot drive due to seizures; assistance with medical services including diagnostic and treatment for low-income individuals; assistance with the training of seizure service response dogs; sponsors an Epilepsy Support Group to connect our families with resources and provide community connections to combat social isolation.
