Allison served as the executive director of the Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana for more than seven years. She was responsible for implementing the organization’s business plan to advance its goals and achieve its mission. During that time, she worked tirelessly to bring common-sense policies to Louisiana, benefiting those who needed access to prescriptions and health care.

With nearly 15 years of public affairs, coalition building, and nonprofit management experience in health care, Allison has joined D.C. public affairs firm Woodberry Associates to support initiatives to influence state and federal lawmakers on behalf of patients.

A founding member of Epilepsy Alliance America, Allison plans to continue volunteering to teach the importance of advocacy on a local, state, and federal level and to help empower communities to use their voices. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
