Wednesday, November 15: 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Rescheduled from September 27, 2023
This webinar will focus on the precipitating causes of seizures or “seizure triggers”. While some factors are well known for precipitating seizures in all persons with epilepsy, such as missing medication, other triggers are specific to a given person. The session will cover general, as well as specific triggers or precipitating factors. It will also cover common drugs that may lower the seizure threshold.
First aid for seizures will be discussed at the end of the session to assure that participants have good information, along with resources for more information. Ample time will be allowed for questions and discussion.
