Building Partnerships in the Epilepsy Community

It's been a busy time for Epilepsy Alliance America staff and board members. In November, we participated in Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland, followed by the American Epilepsy Society meeting in Los Angeles in December. We learned important information and made strong connections with thought leaders, funders and people with epilepsy and members of their care teams.

Seizure Recognition and Response Training 

In November, we introduced our NEW General Seizure Recognition and Response (Seizure First Aid) Training.The interactive on-demand training takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. It is ideal for family members of people with epilepsy, babysitters, co-workers, or anyone who would benefit from knowing about seizures, epilepsy and how to respond if someone has a seizure. 

Support Group Meeting: Thursday, January 9, 2025

Our support group for people with epilepsy and caregivers will hold its first meeting of the new year on Thursday, January 9. Join us for an opportunity to connect with your peers from across the country at our January meeting hosted by the Epilepsy Association of Western and Central Pennsylvania.
