National Plan for Epilepsy

Epilepsy Alliance America recently completed a weeklong social media campaign, highlighting the necessity and importance of a National Plan for Epilepsy. This plan would lead to a federal investment in epilepsy and bring much-needed resources and relief to families across the country. You can urge your members of Congress to cosponsor and pass the bill here.

Time to Talk About Epilepsy

CMEology's educational initiative, Time To Talk About Epilepsy and Seizures, aims to enable, empower, and prepare people with epilepsy, their families/caregivers, and healthcare providers to have productive and meaningful conversations about responding to seizures and using rescue therapies. Check out their YouTube channel for a video series featuring actors and individuals with epilepsy, covering important topics such as brain health, seizure action plans, rescue therapies, and more.

Epilepsy Alliance Ohio hosted the Taylor Huth Memorial Golf Tournament which  remembers the fun-loving spirit of Taylor Huth, who began having seizures in high school and passed away at an early age. 

Epilepsy Association of Western and Central Pennsylvania had a great day at their Pittsburgh Family Fun Run for Epilepsy! 

Epilepsy Alliance America friends, Electric Minds, held a benefit concert in Nashville, in partnership with member organization SAFE - South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy. The proceeds will help sponsor a deserving family to attend Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland.
