This 60-minute training is available 24/7. While the training addresses specifics about the school-setting, anyone seeking to learn the basics of epilepsy and how to recognize and respond to a seizure could benefit from the content.
Lorna Myers PNES Scholarship Dr. Lorna Myers annually donates the royalties of her book, Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures: A Guide to Epilepsy Alliance America.
Using these funds, Epilepsy Alliance America has established a scholarship program for students with a diagnosis of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) who are pursuing higher level education at a university or college or a trade, technical or professional school.
Applications are currently available for the 2022-2023 School Year.
Seizure Action Plan Week Epilepsy Alliance America knows it is important to educate patients, healthcare providers, and the general public about the importance of Seizure Action Plans (SAPs). To that end we are proud to promote the second annual Seizure Action Plan Awareness Week this February. Learn more and help us spread the word.
