DESCRIPTION:Navigating The Maze: From School to Adult Life Transition Conference\nEpilepsy Association of Western and Central PA is hosting a free Navigating the Maze: From School to Adult Life transition conference on Saturday\, April 26\, 2025 at the Wyndham Garden in York PA from 8:00am-3:30pm. The deadline to register is Tuesday\, April 15\, 2025! \nTransition from childhood to adulthood is a challenge\, especially for teens with special healthcare needs. There are a lot of things to navigate: education\, employment\, independent living\, transitioning from pediatric to adult health care\, learning how to advocate for yourself\, and many more. Transition planning helps to ensure a smooth process into adulthood\, and you don’t have to do it alone! This conference will be a great learning experience for teens with epilepsy (and other disabilities) and parents/guardians. This conference brings experts together to provide information about the various pieces in the transition planning process. \nThanks to grant funding\, this conference is free to all attendees. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. \nRegister here. \n
