SUMMARY:SMART Self-Management Program
DESCRIPTION:SMART Program\, Starting April 2\, 2025\nSeizure Management for People with Active Epilepsy\nHosted by Epilepsy Association of Western and Central Pennsylvania \nSelf-Management isn’t something you have to do alone – join others to learn how social networks and friends can help you manage the challenges of your care and living with a chronic condition.\n\n\nSMART is a free\, online program for adults who live with epilepsy (18 years of age or older with active epilepsy). All sessions will be held in small groups via Zoom.\n\nA Nurse and Peer Educator will work with each SMART group to facilitate the sessions online. Each online session will last approximately one hour.\n\nThe next SMART group will meet every Wednesday at 6:00PM for 8 weeks starting April 2\, 2025 and running through May 21\, 2025.\nWe ask that those participating make an effort to make it to all 8 sessions.\n\n\n\nRegister here.
